What is pet waste removal?
Pet waste removal is scheduled dog poop pickup at your home. Booty Scoopy comes out on your scheduled day, walks the whole yard, picks up every pile we find and takes it away from the grass, so the yard is ready for kids, guests and the lawn mower. We're a family-owned business from DeSoto, and Brandon and Christina are the ones you talk to.
Which schedule fits your yard?
- Once a week: steady upkeep, so nothing has time to pile up in the Texas heat.
- Twice a week: for homes with several dogs, or yards that get heavy use.
- Four times a week: for big packs and yards that never get a break.
- One-time cleanup: a fast, thorough yard reset before a get-together, a backyard barbecue or a party, or after a long break.
What happens on a visit?
- 1We come on your scheduled day. You don't need to be home: just leave the gate unlocked.
- 2We walk the whole yard and pick up every pile we find, the front yard too if you ask.
- 3Every bit of waste is double-bagged, sealed with a poop knot and sanitized inside and out, then placed in your trash can on site.
- 4We double-check that your gate is securely latched before we leave.
- 5Our tools, boots and buckets are sanitized before the next yard, so nothing travels from one dog's yard to yours.
Why pick it up every week?
Waste left in the yard doesn't just sit there. Rain and sprinklers wash germs into storm drains and creeks, nitrogen-rich waste stresses grass and can spark lawn fungus, and parasite eggs can stay in the soil for months. Picking it up on a schedule keeps paws and play areas clean.
Who does this help most?
- Homes with two, three or four dogs, where the yard fills up fast
- Families with kids who play in the yard
- Homes with a lawn service that needs a clean yard to mow
- Anyone who would rather spend the weekend playing with the dogs than picking up after them
“They've done amazing🙏We struggle to keep up with the yard and it quickly becomes an issue with three dogs... We were able to clean up *some* every few months which obviously doesn't cut it. They got FIVE bags out of the yard on the first service. Absolutely incredible. Kind, professional and understanding. We're beyond grateful. Dogs loved the treats, too!!”

Frequently asked
Pet Waste Removal questions, answered.

How much does dog poop scooping cost in DeSoto, TX?
For one dog on a weekly plan, it comes to under $25 a scoop, billed monthly. Your price depends on how many dogs you have, how often we come and your ZIP code, and our quote shows it on the spot. New customers get $25 off their first month, and we give discounts to veterans, teachers, first responders and seniors.
Do I need to be home when you scoop?
Nope! Just make sure your gate is unlocked. We sanitize our gear, scoop the yard, and double-check that your gate is securely latched before leaving.
How do you keep my dogs safe?
We thoroughly sanitize all tools, boots and collection buckets between every single yard to prevent cross-contamination.
What do you do with the dog waste?
We double-bag every bit of waste, seal each bag with a poop knot, and sanitize the bags inside and out before placing them in your trash can on site. Nothing sits around: it's sealed, sanitized and out of sight.
How often should dog poop be picked up in my yard?
At least once a week for most yards. Waste left longer smells, draws flies and burns the grass, and rain washes what's left toward storm drains and creeks. Homes with several dogs do best twice a week, and big packs four times a week.
How often can you come?
Once a week, twice a week or four times a week, plus one-time cleanups. Tell us about your dogs and we'll help you pick.
Is it bad to leave dog poop in the yard?
Yes. Dog waste doesn't feed the lawn like fertilizer: it burns the grass, draws flies and can carry bacteria and parasites like roundworms that stay in the soil, where kids and dogs play. When it rains, it washes toward storm drains and local creeks. Picking it up on a schedule keeps paws and play areas clean.
Do you clean up after more than one dog?
Yes. We scoop for homes with one dog or four or more. Each extra dog adds a little to the monthly price, and the quote shows yours on the spot.
What happens if it rains?
We scoop in light rain! If heavy storms hit, we'll reschedule your service or double up on your next visit so your yard stays clean.
Do you work weekends?
Yes. Service is available on the weekends.
What are the treats you leave?
All-natural treats from Pickles Dog Treats, a local woman-owned business that makes little poop-shaped treats for Booty Scoopy customers.
Can I book just one cleanup?
Yes. A one-time cleanup is a fast, thorough yard reset before a get-together, a backyard barbecue or a party, or after a long break. Pick "One-time cleanup" in the quote to see the price.
Do you scoop the front yard too?
Yes. Pick it when you sign up and we'll include it, along with side yards, dog runs, a kids' play area or the pool area.
Can I add deodorizing to my regular visits?
Yes. Book it once for a problem spot, or ask us to add it to your recurring plan.
