Your Mansfield pooper scooper
Dog poop scooping in Mansfield.
Mansfield sits about fifteen miles southeast of Fort Worth and twenty-two miles southwest of Dallas, on US 287 and Texas 360, and most of it lies in southeastern Tarrant County, with parts in Johnson and Ellis counties. We're not a national franchise that happens to have Mansfield on a list. Booty Scoopy is a local family business from DeSoto, owned and run by Brandon and Christina, and we drive out to Mansfield because we want to serve this community. Whether you live near Katherine Rose Memorial Park, out toward US 287 or anywhere in between, we scoop residential yards throughout Mansfield and the surrounding southern Tarrant County neighborhoods.
Here's how a visit goes. We come on your scheduled day, walk the whole yard and pick up every pile, then double-bag the waste, knot it, sanitize the bags and set them in your trash can. Our tools, boots and buckets get sanitized before the next yard, and we check your gate twice before we leave, so you never have to be home. Plans run once a week, twice a week or four times a week, and a one-time cleanup resets a yard before a party or after a long break. No contracts, and new customers get $25 off the first month.
Weekly is also what the city asks for. Mansfield's environmental services and watershed pages ask residents to pick up the yard at least once a week, because rain and sprinkler runoff carry pet waste into storm drains that flow untreated to local creeks and Joe Pool Lake. If a patio or dog run still smells after the scoop, our enzyme deodorizer goes after the odor, and we scoop artificial turf too.

Good neighbors
Mansfield's dog rules.
Pick it up right away
Under Sec. 90.13(A)(6), if your dog goes on property you don't own, you must pick up the feces immediately. Letting a pet go in other people's yards or driveways, or on public property, without cleaning up right away is a nuisance violation.
Walking on public property
Keep your dog on a hand-held leash under your direct control, keep it in the public right-of-way rather than leading it onto yards or driveways you don't own, lease or occupy to do its business, and carry a container and a tool for picking up from sidewalks and rights-of-way (Sec. 90.13(A)(6)).
Fines
Creating or allowing a nuisance is a misdemeanor (Sec. 90.13(B)). Chapter 90 fines run up to $2,000 for violations involving public health and sanitation and up to $500 for the rest, and each day a violation continues is a separate offense (Sec. 90.99).
Your own yard counts too
Sec. 90.13(A)(3) prohibits keeping an animal in a way that bothers the neighbors through a buildup of waste that causes foul, offensive odors or is a hazard to people or other animals.
Leash, license and microchip
A dog that isn't confined by a building, wall or fence, held, or on a hand-held leash with a capable person in control counts as at large, which is an offense (Sec. 90.01 and 90.09). Dogs and cats over 16 weeks old need a rabies vaccination, a city license that runs January 1 to December 31, both tags worn, and a microchip (Sec. 90.22).
Why it matters here
Walnut Creek runs right through Mansfield, and the area was first called Walnut Creek after it. Today the Walnut Creek Linear Trail follows the creek across the city from east to west, along the northern edge of Katherine Rose Memorial Park. The city's storm sewers carry water from streets, parking lots, parks and lawns straight to local streams, creeks, ponds and Joe Pool Lake, and the city warns that pet waste washed off by rain or sprinklers can raise bacteria levels in those waters. Joe Pool Lake, on Mountain Creek, is run by the Trinity River Authority for flood control, recreation and city water supply. A scooped yard is one less source of what ends up there.

Frequently asked
Mansfield questions, answered.

How much does dog poop scooping cost in Mansfield, TX?
For most Mansfield yards with one dog on a weekly plan, it comes to under $25 a scoop, billed monthly. Your exact price depends on how many dogs you have, how often we come and your ZIP code, and our quote shows it on the spot. New customers get $25 off their first month, and we give discounts to veterans, teachers, first responders and seniors.
Is there a pooper scooper near me in Mansfield?
Yes. Booty Scoopy is a family-owned pooper scooper a short drive east in DeSoto, and we scoop yards in Mansfield's ZIP code 76063. Put your ZIP code in the quote form and we'll confirm your street.
Do I need to be home when you scoop my Mansfield yard?
No. Just leave the gate unlocked. We walk the whole yard, double-bag and knot the waste, put it in your trash can and double-check that the gate is latched before we leave.
Can I get a one-time yard cleanup in Mansfield?
Yes. A one-time cleanup gets a yard that's gotten away from you back to clean, before a party, a move or a new puppy, or after a long weekend of trips to Mans Best Field Dog Park. Pick "One-time cleanup" in the quote to see the price.
Do you scoop artificial turf in Mansfield?
Yes. We scoop turf, pads and gravel dog areas and apply our enzyme deodorizer, which also works on lawns and patios that still smell after a scoop. We don't steam clean or deep wash turf.
Is there a contract for poop scooping in Mansfield?
No. There are no long-term contracts with Booty Scoopy: start, pause or cancel anytime, with no cancellation fees.
Who will be scooping my yard in Mansfield?
Brandon and Christina, the owners. Booty Scoopy is a husband-and-wife business a short drive east in DeSoto, not a franchise, so the people you call or text are the people in your yard.
What is Mansfield's dog poop rule?
If your dog goes on property you don't own, you must pick it up immediately, and when you walk your dog on public property you must carry a container and a tool for picking up (Sec. 90.13(A)(6)). Chapter 90 fines run up to $2,000 for public health and sanitation violations.
Where can my dog run off leash in Mansfield?
At Mans Best Field Dog Park, 610 W. Broad St., the city's only off-leash dog park, inside its fenced paddocks. Your dog needs a current City of Mansfield license and vaccinations, and the park is closed on Tuesdays for maintenance.
Does my dog need a Mansfield license?
Yes. Dogs and cats over 16 weeks old must be vaccinated against rabies, licensed with the city each calendar year and microchipped, and wear both their rabies tag and city license tag. A microchip registered with a national database gets a discount on the license.
How often should a Mansfield yard be scooped?
The city asks residents to pick up at least once a week. We scoop once a week, twice a week for busy multi-dog yards, or four times a week for big packs.
